Introducing House Atreides

It’s one of the most powerful Houses in the known universe. Honourable, efficient, and very respected. These are some of the motives, amongst others, however Barón Harkonnen considers them a threat to his aspirations of power and control.

House Atreides is one of the Great Houses of the Imperium, and an important member of Landsraad, the parliament that joins the major and lower Houses of the Imperium.

The Atreides have led the lush, oceanic planet Caladan for generations and are leading their land with justice and honour.

Their leader is Duke Leto, a distinguished aristocrat, proud of his House’s story and his ducal privileges. Although he sometimes seems tough, unflexible, proud, and authoritarian, he is considered a fair and loyal leader, and someone worthy of respect.
